The Amesbury Fire Department hosted the "Annual Open House" on Sunday October 18th, 2009 from 12 noon to 4pm.
There were demonstrations, both hands on and observation, fire fighters and pizza. Papa Gino's supplied the pizza. The Harborside Healthcare Nursing facility provided the ice cream treats!

Despite tough weather, there was a great turnout and all in attendance got a great education on smoke detectors, Fire Engines and Ambulances.

The highlight was a lecture on Safety in the Home put on by FF Gerry Morrill in the NEW SAFE trailer. Great job and great resource.
